Big Birthday Party

We decided that since Joey and Turner were in the same class, same tee ball team, and have birthdays just a few days apart...the best thing to do would be to have a joint birthday party. So, since both Joey and Turner are spoiled rotten and don't need any toys we decided to rent them the big jumping, sliding, wall climbing inflatable as part of their birthday present. Here are some pictures of the fun. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, Joey wanted a Blue Mohawk for the party!

Here is Me and David manning the Sno-Cone machine...we tried to make snowballs (for those of you not from Maryland...that's a snowcone with marshmellow gooey stuff on it) but it didn't work out so well. It was a really hot day so the Sno-Cones were a big hit...speaking of hitting....we also had a pinata!

Jess was in charge of the blind fold, me I was the mean person who had to make sure that every one got a chance to hit the pinata! Meaning that we had it hanging from a tree and I would pull it up and down while the kids were blind folded so that no one would smash it too much!It was funny though even after everyone got a chance to hit it and we let Joey wack it with all his might...it still wouldn't break...go figure! Finally with Daddy's help we got it opened!

4th of July

Hello all! I hope you had a safe and eventful 4th of July. We didn't have any plans until the last minute...Evie had an ear infection the previous week and wasn't feeling too good so we weren't sure what was going to happen. But Jess, Turner, and Vinny were going up to Harrison Lake and we decided to join them.
Yes, Joey has a lifejacket on, and he is actual on the shore...We didn't throw him out in the middle of the lake...atleast not in this picture. I was actually very proud of him, he is usually a scaredy cat when it comes to "new" things, but he rode on the tube and swam in the lake where he couldn't touch with the rest of us...as did Miss Evie! I know what my grandmother is thinking...that's not safe! We were going very slow and Evie had a lifevest on as well. We came back and Joey and Daddy did some fireworks (Evie says they hurt her ears..the fireworks that is not her dad and her brother!). And that was that! Here are a coulpe more pictures of the day!

Josh's Wedding

Joe, Evie, and I went to one of our friend's weddings in Helena, (Joey wanted to go to a friend's birthday party) So, Joe went up for all the festivities and Evie and I drove up the day of the wedding. It was nice since so many of Joe's friends that I met while we were dating ( approximately 9 year ago...yeah 9 years doesn't seem possible!) have moved away and we don't get to see them. Josh lives in Helena still with his new wife and son Caleb, Kipper lives in Dillion, where he bought a house, Travis is in Arizona with his wife Shelly and their baby girl Peyton, and Ricky is living in Seattle with his long time girlfriend. So... it was nice to have everybody in one spot.

Baseball

This is Joey's and Turner's 2nd Season playing Tee-ball. The are on a team called "Valley Machine", Joe is not coaching this year, and Jessica and I aren't into it as much. Last year was really exciting because the coaches let the kids hit off the pitch...this year it is the TEE ONLY...its a little more boring that way, but it is fun to see the boys mature this year and actually have a handle on the game...ie Turner final knows where 3rd base is...you'll have to ask Jess about the last game of the season last year.

Here is little missy giving her Daddy a push on the swing. She has no idea what is going on at the baseball game, but when she isn't grumpy, she usually likes going to Joey's game.

More Mexico

Here are the other Pictures from Mexico, as I promised...I had a lot more pictures on the disposable cameras than I did with my digital! I thought it was better to be safe than sorry. But getting my picture put on disc was just as good as having them on my digital camera. I could manipulate them and get them closer to what I wanted.

The pictures of the "Dancing" was on what you might call a "Booze Cruise", as it was a small catamaran that left at 8 am (started serving drinks at 8:05) and then took us out to snorkle in really rough water...and for those of you that don't know, snokling, drinking beer, and rough water DON"T go so well together...As I had my head over the boat for the last 10 minutes of the ride to Isla Mujeres...just thought I would educate the rest of you. After we snorkled we went to the island and hung out there...drank for free...then got back on the boat, continued to drink...JOE even drank some tequila! (my favorite NOT HIS!) The ride back was lots of fun signing and dancing as you can see above. The majority of the pictures here are from ISLA MUJERES, which Joe and I both fell in love with. It was very secluded and much more quite than Cancun.

Cancun, Mexico!

Hola, Como esta? Joe and I took a little quick vacation down to Cancun the day after graduation! I thought I desereved it!
We stayed at the Grand Solaris, which was nice. We didn't get in the pools at all, since there was a swim up bar, and you never say anyone get out of the pool to use the restroom, and considering the alchol content they were consuming didn't surprize us. The water was beautiful and really warm. We did 2 excursions, one to an island north of Cancun call ISLA MUJERES, where spent the day on a magnificent beach (pictures of the beach were taken on a disposable camera, so I'll have to add them later!). We went snorkling off the coast of the island.
The other day trip we went on was called the Jungle tour, it took us on our own little speed boat to a reef. Some people have fish tales, you'll have to ask JOE about his shark tale...he swears he say a shark in the reef. I wasn't around which probably was good, because if I would have saw it, that would have been the end of my Jungle tour. I promise more picutures later, I didn't want to get the digital camera wet so I didn't take it with us much. So, I will post more when the others get developed!

Graduation!!

Well, the long awaited day final came! I graduated with my Masters!!! What a huge feeling of relief! I am really happy to be finished with that last semester. Here are some pictures of the "Hooding" ceremony, I also made my family sit through the main graduation ceremony...it was really long! The Hooding ceremony is just for the Master's of Professional Accountancy. So, it just the people I have have class with the last couple years. The big ceremony is the college ceremony and it has every person who graduated with the PhD's, all the Masters, and even the Bachelors degrees. The hooding ceremony is more personal, it showed pictures of the class on a slide show and thanked their families individually. It was at the Museum of the Rockies, which was really nice. Here are two of my good friends Todd and Katie. The Hooding ceremony was on Cinco De Mayo, so a friend of mine opted for the sombreo instead of the traditional mortar board cap! Here are the kids and my mom, Joey likes to where the hat! Evie can't stop talking for one picture! Oh well, not all the pictures can be perfect!
